THE CALYPSO /JAZZ PROJECT
A COLLECTION OF MELODIES FROM VARIOUS GENRES,
FUSED WITH DANCE RHYTHMS OF THE CARIBBEAN
HIGHLIGHTING THE STEEL PAN MUSICAL INSTRUMENT
(CELLO PANS, DOUBLE TENOR PANS,
AND SOPRANO LEAD PAN). IT IS HOPED THAT AN URGE
TO DANCE WILL BE THE RESULT WHILE LISTENING
TO SOME OF THE MORE FAMILIAR MELODIES.

WE WERE PRIVILEGED TO HAVE THIS PROJECT PRODUCED AND
ENGINEERED BY DAVE KASPERSIN.
DURING PRODUCTION DAVID SADLY SUFFERED THE LOSS OF HIS
WIFE JACKIE KASPERSIN AND MY SON ALFRED OKARI ST JOHN
PASSED AWAY AT AGE 50. THEY WERE BOTH STRONG SUPPORTERS
OF "THE CALYPSO/JAZZ PROJECT" AND CONTRIBUTED
TREMENDOUSLY TO ITS RELEASE.
